Invest in Liquid Gold

Access to Liquid Gold. Liquid Gold, also referred to as Raw Milk, is the perfection of nature. However, dairy products are the most regulated commodity. How do you access this liquid gold for the health of your family? You own the animals!

Freedom Chicken - The Healthier Choice

FREEDOM CHICKEN - THE HEALTHIER CHOICEFreedom Chicken is the epitome of a pasture based production system and the most nutrient dense, cleanest chicken you can get in the area. All animals at Follow Me Land & Livestock are managed in a manner that captures processes found in Nature.  In an open range environment (Africa savanna, the Arctic North Slope of Alaska, the Great Plains) the flora and fauna rely upon an ever moving cycle of leader-follower animal activity.  The large ruminants (cattle, bison, wildebeest) are pressured by predators and the initial depletion of forage keeps these vast herds on the move.  Following behind the ruminant are birds.  These birds (omnivores) sanitize the fields and supplement their diet on the initial regrowth of grasses and forbs.  We use this natural cycle to our advantage resulting in an eating experience packed with nutrition.  When compared to non-pastured chicken, pasture raised chickens have the following nutritional benefits:91% more Omega 3 fatty acids52% less saturated fats (less bad fat)407% more Vitamin EWOW!!!! How is this possible?A Healthier ProtocolOur Freedom Chicken is truly free-range in open pastures to provide as natural of a setting as feasible. There are no buildings. There are no cages. There are no dirt pads. 62% more exposure to sunshine, fresh air, and fresh rain. The birds are provided a shade structure to protect them from the sun and predation to reduce stress.  We exceed industry standards of "free range" and "cage free" as found in the big box store to make the only stressful day the animal experiences occurs at the point of harvest. Because of the elimination of stress and rely upon pasture, we do not pump them with narcotics, vaccines, and hormones. Zero antibiotics, Zero drugs.Fresh grass.Free of Corn, Soy, and GMOsHealthier EnvironmentThe mimicking of natural systems calls for the animal being exposed to new, fresh forage each day.  The birds have the ability to glean 40%-60% of their diet from the environment.  Grass, forbes, weeds, insects, grubs, worms.  These feed sources provide a more balanced diet as the chicken gets to enjoy its innate antics (scratching & picking).  The DifferenceMany chicken products found at your local behemoth grocery store claim “free range.”  However, this is misleading as these birds are still housed in large, immobile buildings where a small door is made available to the birds.  But do the birds, housed in the 1000s, truly have the opportunity to fresh air?  No.Don’t believe me? I challenge you to visit and see the birds.Discover more:“Effects of free-range feeding on n-3 fatty acid and a-tocopherol content and oxidative stability of eggs,” Lpoz-Bote, C.J. et. al. Regenerative Agriculture at Follow Me Land & Livestock

All of the benefits of regenerative agriculture is passed onto YOU as the consumer both directly and indirectly. Healthy soils produce balanced vegetative growth that is packed with vitamins, minerals, and complex flavonoids. The animal, consuming healthier forage, produces fats and meats packed full with nutritional benefits. YOU directly benefit by consuming healthier, more nutrient dense animal protein and fats. YOU indirectly benefit as our neighbor because the air and water is cleaner and more pure. There are no foul odors from our livestock.

The 5-W's of Follow Me Land & Livestock

Over the past decade, the Cory Family has gradually grown from Laura & Kevin to now including five children (Mikaela, Nicholas, Olivia, Peyton, Roman) and a farm. But with such a large family, why pursue the agrarian life? In the simplest, at first, it’s cheeper to grow your own food. But now, the pursuit of self-sufficiency (or the reduction of the grocery bill) has emerged as the pursuit of service for ones’ neighbor. This call to service is abundant in the upbringing of both Laura and Kevin through the example (leadership) of our parents and grandparents. We’re now at the culmination point in our life journey to take Kevin’s 15-years of selfless service to our Constitution, Laura’s selflessness as a mother, and our collective experiences of serving others.

Nature Votes Last

Consider two groups of animals: Group 1 - cattle, gorillas, & sheep Group 2 - humans, lions, and polar bears Which of these two groups of mammals are “designed” to digest a low fat diet?

The USDA Weaponizes Food Against Alabama's Children

We’re truly living in a dystopia as the USDA will withhold Federal food programs from the Alabama School system. Why? Earlier in 2022, in an effort to combat the societal onslaught of transgenderism, the Alabama state legislature passed House Bill 322. This legislation “requires students to use the restroom that corresponds to their biological sex.” As a father of three beautiful young ladies, this seems reasonable to me, especially in light of sexual misconduct in the Loudon County, VA school district. In an effort to protect the children of Alabama, the law was passed.

Life is always better under an oak tree compared to a parking lot

Over the past week a heatwave moved through the South East and the Midwest resulting in over 10,000 cattle dying from the heat. The heat and humidity have compounding effects, we all know this from personal experience living in the South. However, the conventional industry places unnatural stressors on the animal. In further complication is the size of the animal with many pushing the scales at 1500 - 2000 Lbs. And this is the crux of the issue.
